The conference RusMetalCon-2018 is devoted to discussion of the latest achievements in the field of material science and metallurgical technologies: design, synthesis and characterization of material, pyrometallurgical processes, foundry production, welding, metal forming, additive manufacturing. It will be held in Chelyabinsk, the Russian Federation, on October 1-4, 2018. The conference is organized to maintain discus and the presentation of research papers, summarizing research in technical disciplines in universities, research institutes, large industrial enterprises, scientific and industrial associations of the Russian Federation and the World, as well as foreign authors, and research results obtained on the personal initiative of the authors.

The aim of the conference is the exchange of information between scientists and practitioners of the most promising areas of research and achievements in the field of material science and metallurgical technologies.
